our country Namibia at your own pace.

Gosh! it's so very nice to hear from you
My visit to Namibia, all the wonderful things I saw, made possible by you driving me around and your
knowledge of the country, remain one of the highlights of my life. Of course, the “Princess Grace” story
is part of the lovely memories....I am pleased to hear that the story continues

Namibia Tour Imke and I did with you was one of the most impressive trips I ever made. Of course we
have been showing our pictures to colleagues and friends and they were all very impressed and rapt
about your wonderful country! I am sure one or the other will also spend his holiday in Namibia and
you know whom I will recommend as a guide!

For both of us, Namibia was a life-altering experience. Our fantastic and experienced tour operator and
guide, Andre Blaauw of Foxtrot Tours (with Eleanor, right), was our driver and a great travelling
companion for the entire week and the 2500 kilometres we covered around the country. We never
would have attempted the drive ourselves.......driving on the left, dealing with the bumpy, unpaved
gravel roads (a great African massage!), locating the animals in their habitats, identifying the various
birds and plants we saw en route, knowing where to find the points of interests in each area, and of
course, knowing the great restaurants and being introduced to Namibian Tafel beer....the best beer in
the world. He shared his incredible knowledge of Namibian wildlife, geography and insight into its
indigenous peoples with us and his ability to speak the various languages certainly simplified every
step of the trip. We travelled through arid desert, high mountain areas, Atlantic coastline, the dunes,
and the cities. We visited a petrified forest and saw rock art made by the bushmen

Hi Jacqui and Andre
We are now back in our home and "trying" very hard to recuperate from jetlag - but after such a
wonderful trip we are eagerly working on our photos / video and remembering all the great times we
had with you two.
The trip was a great experience and was made so much better to have been in the company of such
nice people. We are telling everyone about our great trip and what a beautiful, clean and nice country
Namibia turned out to be for us.
We were truly fortunate to have had such a variety of experiences and interesting adventures.
We'll soon be sending you things. Hope all is well with you and that you have "recovered" from
us as well. Take care and let's please try to keep in touch!

We are back in the daily routine now, unfortunately. Here is winter still approaching spring and
temperatures do not exceed 5°C. We are missing warm Namibian weather.
I'm going to acquire some SA wine labels soon and our business missions to Africa might be
continuing this way.
We would like to thank you for your guidance thru Namibia and all help given to us during our
visit. I believe this was not a last time we saw each other and either you or we will travel to
Africa/Europe. As I stated, your are the most welcomed in Prague, whenever you decide to come.
I will do a babysitting for you:)
All the best,
Martin
On the plane home I was listening to some music and I remembered the evenings when we were
camping with delicious food, the silence and a sky full of stars.
We have seen a lot of beautiful things, people , nature etc. The weather was fine we didn’t complain.
We have seen a lot because of you.
