Namibia Luxury Fly-in Safari - 7 Nights

Overview

You will be accompanied by an experienced, knowledgeable and qualified Safari Guide/Pilot that will guide and provide information throughout the trip, both in the air and on the ground during excursions and activities. Full intercom headsets are provided in the aircraft so that passengers can communicate with the guide as well as with each other. During flights from area to area the routes follow scenic Namibian landscape and other highlights to provide a complete Namibian experience, both from the skies and on the ground.

Day 1

Charter flight from Windhoek International Airport to Kalahari Private Game Reserve (± 50 min.)
Arrival at the airstrip and transfer to the lodge.
Afternoon Game Drive including sundowner.
Overnight at Zebra Kalahari Lodge (DBB)

Day 2

Charter flight from Intu Afrika Kalahari Private Game Reserve to Sossusvlei (± 1 hour)
Arrival at the airstrip and transfer to the lodge
Time for relaxation and to use the Spa facilities
Overnight at Le Mirage Desert Lodge & Spa (DBB)

Day 3

Early morning excursion to Sossusvlei, a clay pan surrounded by some of the highest sand dunes in the world. Return to the lodge at midday. Time for relaxation and to use the Spa facilities.

Day 4

Charter flight from Le Mirage to Swakopmund (± 1 hour)
Transfer to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure.

Early morning transfer to Walvis Bay for a Marine Cruise through the harbour and surrounding waters
Return to Swakopmund at midday
Charter flight from Swakopmund to Epacha Private Game Reserve (± 1 hour 20 min)

Full day game drive to Etosha National Park

7 Night Fly-in Safari returns by charter flight to Eros Airport, Windhoek and proceeds as on day 9.

Lodge Information

ZEBRA KALAHARI LODGE is set in a panorama of open grassy plain, acacia woodlands and red sand dunes. A luxurious establishment, the cool interior reflects casual comfort. This unique lodge accommodates guests in generous twin bedded rooms connected to the main lodge building. Each air-conditioned room has a spacious en-suite bathroom with all modern conveniences and is furnished with an elegant simplicity that reminds one of a bygone era. Guests can explore the Kalahari in open 4x4 vehicles or on quad bikes, take guided walks with bushman trackers and trained guides to learn their desert survival secrets, or simply relax around the pool or in the refined lounge overlooking the waterhole. The stark splendour of this Kalahari thirstland will find a special place in your heart.

Intu Afrika Kalahari Private Game Reserve is a 10 000 ha wildlife sanctuary located in the southwestern region of the Kalahari, along the upper reaches of the Auob river system of Namibia. The expanse of the reserve is characterized by lofty ancient parallel red dunes sparsely covered by unique vegetation. Grassy plains peppered with centuries old camelthorn trees commonly known as 'dune streets' or valleys separate the dunes providing refuge for diverse animal and bird life indigenous to the Kalahari.

LE MIRAGE DESERT LODGE & SPA is located only 21 km from Sesriem the entrance gate to the Namib Naukluft Park and Sossusvlei. The lodge is a harmoniouss blend of luxury and nature with each room offering spectacular views of the Namib Desert. Guests are accommodated in luxury rooms with en-suite facilities, airconditioning, safe, mini bar and coffee & tea making facilities. The lodge has a spacious restaurant sheltering guests against the harsh desert climate. A highlight at the lodge is the wellness centre which specializes in massages, pedicures, manicures, aroma massages, Thai massages and de-stress programmes. In the large courtyard guests can retreat at the swimming pool sheltered from the desert in a flourishing garden oasis. The lodge offers quad bike tours, nature drives on the private domain, nature drives to Sossusvlei and hot air ballooning.

The Namib-Naukluft Park is not only Namibia's largest park, but also one of the largest in Africa. The Namib is considered to be one of the oldest deserts in the world. To visit it presents an ever-changing kaleidoscope of scenery that ranges from the shifting sand dunes of perspective. The park can be divided into four areas: the Namib section between the Swakop and Kuiseb rivers, Sandwich, the Naukluft section and the central Namib sand sea, including Sesriem and Sossusvlei. Each of these areas has distinctive flora and fauna and offers visitors different experiences and scenery.

The elegant HANSA HOTEL is located conveniently in the centre of town and is one of the oldest buildings in Swakopmund. In 2005 the hotel celebrated its 100 years of existence. Each en-suite room is individually decorated and fitted with under floor heating, telephone, TV, hair dryer, safe and coffee & tea facilities. The restaurant is noted for it's excellent cuisine.

EPACHA GAME LODGE & SPA is situated on the 21,000 ha Epacha Private Game Reserve. In keeping with the Victorian era in Africa, Epacha Game Lodge uniquely combines turn of the century elegance with personalised safari luxury – all chalets are individually appointed with specially commissioned antique furnishings and stylishly decorated in subtle, relaxing colours. All luxurious chalets encompass a spacious suite and a magnificent en-suite bathroom as well as an open-air shower, and each has its own private balcony, complete with a breathtaking view across the majestic private reserve and the Ondundozonananandana valley. Epacha Private Game Reserve is a wildlife paradise of 21,000 ha bordering on the world-renowned wildlife conservation area, Etosha National Park. This private reserve was created as a wildlife sanctuary, committed to wildlife preservation and nature conservation. Epacha Private Game Reserve is home to the Black Rhino custodian programme and hosts 22 antelope species as well as the endangered sable antelope.

DIVAVA OKAVANGO LODGE & SPA, Namibia's hidden wildlife paradise in the Caprivi where time stands still. Divava Okavango Lodge is nestled amongst majestic trees on the banks of the Okavango River a few hundred metres from Popa Falls. Fondly referred to by the locals as Paradishi Ghomumbiru; (Little Paradise). Divava Okavango Lodge offers an exquisite view over the Okavango River with excellent opportunities for bird watching. The lodge is only 14kms from the Mahango Game Reserve, which is celebrated for it's abundance of game species such as elephant, buffalo, sable and roan antelope, bushbuck, reedbuck and tsessebe.
