14 Day Camping Safari

Namib Desert, Skeleton Coast, Cape Cross, Brandberg, Damaraland, Kaokoland, Etosha National Park, Waterberg Plato

Itinerary

Day 1 & 2 (Desert)

Guests will be met at the Windhoek International Airport and transferred to Sesriem campsite for dinner and overnight. Include visit to Dune 45, Dead Vlei, Sossusvlei, Sesriem Canyon.

Day 3 & 4 (Skeleton Coast)

After breakfast we will depart to Swakomund via Solitaire crossing, the Tropic of Capricorn and Walvisbay. Arriving in Swakopmund at lunch time. Overnight at the municipal bungalows. Rest of the day free to explore this coastal town. Visit the Moon Valley, Welwitschia Mirabilis.

(Other activities are available e.g. quad biking, paragliding, dune boarding, scenic flights, dolpin cruise – not included in price)

Day 5 (Damara Land)

After breakfast we will depart through the coastal town of Hentiesbay to the Cape Cross seal colony. After visiting the seals at Cape Cross we will depart to Uis near the Brandberg. Dinner and overnight at the Ugab Camp at the foot of the Brandberg.

Day 6

After breakfast we will visit the White Lady rock painting before departing to Twyfelfontein. On the way we will visit the rock engravings at Twyfelfontein, the Burnt Mountain and the Organ pipes. Arriving in Twyfelfontein late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Aba Hoab Camp.

Day 7 & 8 (Kaokoland)

After Breakfast we will depart to Kamanjab, where we will overnight at the Himba Community camp. Activities include a visit to the Himba people and a local village to experience their way of living and culture.

Day 9

After breakfast we will depart to the Cheetah farm, where we will overnight.

Day 10

After breakfast, we will depart for the Etosha National Park, where we will overnight at the Okakuejo camp, famous for it’s waterhole with flood lights to observe animals at night. Depending on the time of arrival we will do a game drive before sun set.

Day 11 & 12

After breakfast we will proceed through the park to Namutoni Camp (also Etosha National Park). Game drives and animal viewing at the waterholes.

Day 13

After an early breakfast we will be leaving the Etosha National Park heading through the town of Tsumeb. On the way we will visit the Otjikoto Lake. We will drive through the towns of Otavi, Otjiwarongo to the Waterberg Plato Park for overnight and dinner. The Waterberg has various hiking trails to explore.

Day 14

After breakfast we will depart to Windhoek. Guests will be transferred to the airport for departure.
